Advertising to make people healthy has been very popular. I have seen a lot of advertisements (billboards) that have NBA like feel to them with catchy little sayings. One that really got me a while back was about cavemen. The ad says something like…
Cavemen. Cavemen never had cars. Cavemen never had escalators. And cavemen never had love handles
A clever little ad, but I don’t remember anyone speaking about how cavemen lived to be 80 years old!
I get the point, but with me it just misses the mark a bit.
I haven’t had much free time to write lately. I have been busy with two jobs, just trying to get things done around my home. I took last Saturday off completely. Then Sunday I cleaned up the fish tank and house. To top make matters worse, I just purchased some ColdFusion learning material so I can improve my knowledge of ColdFusion and possibly get certified as a ColdFusion developer. Both books that I have purchase where written by Ben Forta.
Funny name. I was looking through some things and found the “definition” of fat farm on
Answers.com - fat farm.
By definition a fat farm is “A spa or resort that specializes in weight loss.”. And all this time I thought it was a place to harvest fat for soap.
Let me think of all of the animals on a farm that invoke weight loss. Cow. Pig. Nope, can’t think of any. But now I am hungry because all I can think about is a double bacon cheese burger.
The thought of weight loss and spa or resort just don’t go together in my mind. When I think of weight loss, I think of hard work, good choices and discipline. When I think of spa or resort I think of relaxing, no choices and doing what I want. Maybe it is just code for going in for lyposuction
Got to get back to work and look for more funny names.
